It doesn't really matter what team you're rooting for on Super Bowl Sunday, because when it's time for a commercial break, everybody's on the same team. As of 2009, a 30-second spot during the Super Bowl ad cost nearly $300,000, and had the potential of reaching an audience of about 90 million people. These factors alone mean that (even if your team is losing), you'll be treated to a laugh or a heart-warming chuckle in the very least.
