Chevrolet Camaro Joins 11 Second Club

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has made history once again, and not only for becoming one of the best selling two-door sports cars from Hurricane Chevrolet of Hurricane, WV. Camaro ZL1 has entered the "11 second club." At the quarter mile, a street legal Camaro ZL1 with automatic transmission hit 11.93 secs on the track. This new Chevrolet two-door also reached 116 miles per hour. A manual transmission Camaro ZL1 ran the same quarter mile in 11.96-seconds.

Chevrolet Camaro achieved this with a stock 6.2-liter LSA V8, producing 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft of torque. Camaro ZL1…

New Chevy Caprice Hits the Beat

The new Caprice from Chevrolet is joining the ranks of the men and women in blue. Now, you might think it difficult for anything new to get into the inner circle of cops. Chevy, however, is confident the new Caprice PPV has exactly what it takes.

Our sureness stems from the fact that the 2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV has been designed from the inside, out to cater exclusively to cops, and help make their inarguably difficult jobs a little bit easier... and a lot more comfortable.

Perhaps the biggest difference between the new Caprice and its rival PPVs is size…

Chevrolet Cranks Past The Competition With 2012 Camaro ZL1

When automakers release a new car the public is teased with little details leaving us to wonder how it will be. Chevrolet has done just that with their Camaro ZL1, for example. Chevy has been showing hauntingly fierce images of the revamped icon for what seems like an eternity. Wanting to pique our interest even more, they've also been alluding to the ZL1's competitor-trouncing power. Operative word: alluding.

Finally - Chevrolet has provided some of the details we've been waiting patiently for. But instead of mitigating our anticipation, it's amplified it ten-fold. GM has officially announced the…

When you think of Chevrolet you think of American muscle right? Well contrary to what you think, Chevrolet was founded by Swiss-born racing pioneer, Louis-Joseph Chevrolet, 100 years ago. How time flies!

Of course, Chevrolet is celebrating in the utmost style. To pay tribute to their racing heritage and 100-year anniversary, they've created a special 2012 Chevrolet Centennial Edition Corvette.

"Racing and performance are the roots of Chevrolet, a tradition carried forward today by Corvette," says Rick Scheidt, VP Marketing, Chevrolet. "The Centennial Edition not only celebrates our 100 years, it once again pushes Corvette forward for a new…

Chevrolet Will Introduce the Sonic in 2012

Over the past couple of years, Chevrolet has been redefining their brand, manufacturing smaller, more efficient vehicles rather than gas-guzzling trucks and SUVs. The first small car to hit showroom floors, evidencing their efforts to re-brand their identity was the Cruze in 2010. And, the overhaul continues today with the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic.

The all-new Chevy Sonic subcompact is expected to be available in the form of both a four-door sedan and five-door hatchback. It will be the one and only subcompact produced in America. Specifically, it will be run on the production line at GM's Orion plant in…

A Look into the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL 1

A performance master from the day it first debuted in 1969, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL 1 is about to come back, resurrected as what the American automaker refers to as the fastest, most technologically advanced Camaro ever built.

Up until now, most all of the details surrounding the new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL 1 have been mere speculation. Thankfully, Al Oppenheiser, Chief Engineer on the Camaro has confirmed a few specs, both building and relieving…

2013 Malibu Gets More Exotic

Named for one of California's most affluent beach-front cities, the Chevrolet Malibu was introduced in 1964. The 2011 model signifies the end of the car's illustrious seventh generation. And, while the next-generation 2013 model isn't expected to go on sale in America until late this summer, we're already chomping on the bit to get our hands on it.

The upgrade we're most looking forward to is its new, larger 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Sporting a dual overhead cam setup with direct injection and matched with an all-new six-speed automatic transmission, it's estimated to get…
